Furaleigh

Hey everyone!

    So we finally have some actual news.  After a bit of haggling from Wolfeh and me, FurAffinity is now running our ad for FREE for the next 6 months!  So that's a pretty big deal.  Hopefully that'll raise awareness quite a bit. 

    Also, as the date is now definitely in 2013, we've re-negotiated with the hotel we're hoping to host Furaleigh at.  They're very understanding of our need to do 2013 instead of 2012 as we originally (very optimistically) told them, and for almost the same terms.  The price per room has gone up by about 5 bucks, but that's probably just to cover inflation more than anything else.  All the room block requirements are also the same, as well as the free con space should we be able to fill them up.  Pretty good news there too.

    That's the word for Furaleigh, stay tuned as we're going through staff apps.  We've received a LOT of them so hopefully we can start getting in touch with people in the next couple weeks.  Thanks again to everyone for sticking with us!

Also an additional note.  We have not actually booked the con space yet.  We have reserved it for the dates we need.  We'll probably need a permit and definitly a corporation set up before we book it.  Thanks to ShogunFox for pointing out a need for clarification.
