There seems to be some confusion as to why President and Vice President weren't on the application sheet. I wanted to clear this up.
I, Static, will be acting as Head Chair / President. Wolfeh will be Vice Chair / President. She has also volunteered to act as Dealers' Den coordinator. As her primary occupation is going to cons all over the US as a dealer, I'm inclined to say there's not going to be a much better candidate for the position than her.
That being said, we are still encouraging anyone to step up and help with whatever they think they can. I, and Wolfeh, just ask that any major decisions be run by us first, or at least posted in the public forum where they can be discussed openly. This includes anything having to do with legal issues, equipment, staff, location, dates, etc.
We've now sent emails to all relavent positions at this point. I'll still be updating the previous news post as people respond to those. We are still actively looking for a Programming Director. Volunteer Coordinator, and Fursuit Photoshoot Photographer will be needed at a later date, as well as any other positions which need to be created in the mean time. They will be chosen closer to the actual con time, since their function will be more relavent then.
As always, thanks to everyone who keeps sending us emails and messages wanting to know how they can help. Your enthusiasm is the fuel that will make this con a reality. Everyone can help in some way. There will be so many things along the way that need to be taken care of. We just have to get rolling to start with.
